A farm invasion and attempted attack took place outside Volksrust in Mpumalanga near Wakkerstroom. two suspects were detained by sector 3 policing, Preuyt Securty and local farm watch. two further suspects escaped and are being tracked. The motive is suspected to be livestock theft and possible house robbery. no injuries were reported and victims with not to be named for safety reasons. the surroung land was set ablaze previously believed to be to draw the tenants out of their home for a possible attack. the public are advised to be alert when leaving and returning home.
