- Government has so far recovered Seven billion Rand from proceeds of state capture and will continue to crack the whip against companies and those individuals who were involved in State Capture.
- EFF leader Julius Malema says National Assembly Speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula did not apply the removal rule properly before they were forcefully removed from the chamber at the City Hall. Malema says MPs who were not named were also removed from the Chamber. In terms of the rules, an MP has to be named first before he or she is instructed to leave the chamber or be removed from the house. Malema says they will challenge the Speaker’s ruling.
- In earthquake-struck Turkiye. Hundreds of thousands of people are believed to be displaced in Hatay in the southeast. The area has emerged as one of the worst hit after the natural disaster. Humanitarian organisation, Gift of the Givers arrived in the city last night (Thursday).
